WILDLIFE TOUR IN INDIA OVERVIEW & ROUTE MAP
This wildlife tour in India is the perfect blend of Northeast and Central Indian wildlife. It offers a unique and thrilling opportunity to explore some of India's most renowned national parks, each rich in biodiversity and home to diverse ecosystems. This tour provides exciting wildlife encounters and educates visitors about the critical conservation efforts underway in these regions. Whether spotting a Bengal Tiger, marveling at the endangered One-Horned Rhinoceros, or observing the spectacular birdlife, each park offers a unique perspective on India’s rich natural heritage.
Kaziranga National Park is situated on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Its sprawling grasslands, wetlands, and dense forests host a remarkable variety of species, including One-Horned Rhinoceroses,Elephants, Wild Buffaloes, Otters and Swamp deer. The vibrant birdlife, including the Greater Adjutant Stork and Great Hornbill, adds to Kaziranga’s charm.
Kanha National Park’s undulating landscape is dotted with dense groves of vegetation, hillocks and open meadows. Of all these habitats, Kanha’s meadows are its lifeline, as they sustain large numbers of Chital, Sambar, Swamp Deer and Gaur, which in turn support populations of predators and co-predators like Tigers, Leopards, Wild Dogs, Jungle Cats and Foxes.
Pench National Park is an idyllic land for bird watching, boasting over 210 species of birds, including migratory birds. Apart from a high chance of Tiger and Leopard sightings, the tour also gives the opportunity to view other mammals like Indian Gaur, Wild Dogs, Sloth Bear & an array of other mammals & birds, making this one of the best wildlife tours in India.
