How to reach Bandhavgarh National Park from Delhi
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is located in Umaria District – Madhya Pradesh State in Central India there are various options available to go from Delhi to Bandhavgarh.
By Air: Jabalpur (190 kms) and Khajuraho (240 kms) are the best-suited airports for Bandhavgarh from Delhi. There are many daily flights by national airlines and it’s a 4-hour drive from Jabalpur and 5 1/2 hours’ drive from Khajuraho. Taxis can be booked from the hotel you are staying in or from tour operators. There are not many options for taxi booking on arrival.
By Train: Umaria (35 kms), Katni (100 kms) and Jabalpur (190 kms) are well suited stations for Bandhavgarh. There are several trains to these stations. Chatisgarh Sampark Kranti is an excellent option from Delhi taking you to Umaria. Other trains are MP Sampark Kranti, Jabalpur super-fast and Gondwana Express to Katni and Jabalpur.
How to reach Bandhavgarh National Park from Mumbai
By Air: There are daily flight to Jabalpur from Mumbai by Spice Jet and from Jabalpur, it is 4-hour drive. Taxis can be booked from the hotel you are staying in or from tour operators. Not many options for taxi booking on arrival.
By Train: Jabalpur (190 kms), Katni (100 kms), Satna (150 kms) are well-suited stations for Bandhavgarh. There are several trains to these stations. 12519 LLT KYQ AC, 22103 LTT FAIZABAD, and 12546 Karmabhumi Express are an excellent option from Mumbai connecting you to all these stations.
How to reach Bandhavgarh National Park from Bengaluru
By Air: Jabalpur (190 kms) is the nearest airport but there is no direct flight from Bengaluru to Jabalpur. However, Go Air, Indigo, Air India are some major airlines that fly between Bangalore to Nagpur to Jabalpur OR Bangalore to Bhopal to Jabalpur.
By Train: Jabalpur (190 kms) is well-suited station for Bandhavgarh. There are several trains to this station from Yasvantpur Jn and from Bangalore Cant. YPR LKO EXP (22683), YPR JBP EXP (12193) are suggested train options to reach Jabalpur but operate once in a week. However, Sanghamitra Express operates every day from Bangalore Cantt.
How to reach Bandhavgarh National Park from Hyderabad
By Air: Jabalpur (190 kms) is the best-suited airports for Bandhavgarh from Hyderabad. Onwards drive is about 4 hours. SpiceJet and IndiGo are main daily flights by national airlines, however, early morning SpiceJet flight is an excellent option to reach Bandhavgarh by noon. Taxis can be booked from the hotel you are staying in or from tour operators. Not many options for taxi booking on arrival.
By Train: Jabalpur (190 kms), Katni (100 kms) and Satna (150 kms) are well-suited stations for Bandhavgarh. There are several trains to these stations. SC DNR express is an excellent option from Secunderabad Jn taking you to Jabalpur. Other trains are YPR LKO Exp & YPR JBP Exp to Katni, Satna & Jabalpur and run once in a week.
